Problem.

PagoFX is an international money transfer and exchange app that uses blockchain to make transfers. The solution was provided for individual users and small and medium-sized companies. The client wanted to launch the app on the Polish market to see if its solution was right for the reality of the Polish consumer.

Solution.

We prepared a comprehensive study with users: usability tests and in-depth interviews for the British company, Vipera - a provider of digital services for customers alongside solutions for banks and retailers, developing the PagoFX app in cooperation with Santander Bank.

Comprehensive research and usability tests combined with interviews have allowed the company to decide on changes in the app interface and prepare a campaign to introduce the product to European markets.

The ExtraHut team took part in the entirety of the research process. We conducted both usability tests and in-depth interviews. Thanks to this, we gained a comprehensive understanding of user behaviors, reactions, and feelings.

In numbers.

Participants in the research. In both kinds of research, we met with 20 different male and female participants. The youngest participant was 20 years old, with the oldest being 57.
Days spent on both research process. During the project, we had to prepare for the research, arrange the scenario and materials, recruit participants, and following the meetings, coordinate the client feedback session.
Team members. Two UX research moderators. Our team also contained a simultaneous translator and person responsible for the technical setting - recordings, streaming, and audio.
